Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the field with tears, shattered World Cup dream.

 A shattered World Cup dream

Ronaldo, the all-time leading scorer in men’s international soccer with 118 goals, came in as a replacement in the 51st minute.

It was the first time Ronaldo had not started a Portugal World Cup game since 2006.

He had looked somewhat disconnected from the rest of the squad after the match.

The 37-year-old walked off the field in tears

Now, with the next tournament four years away, it seems unlikely Ronaldo ever will, despite once stating he would like to play on until his 40s

                              Brawl of Kohli and Gambhir

It all started between the 16th and 17th over, Naveen ul Haq went to Viral Kohli and said something which RCB’s star batter clearly didn’t like. By fighting in the stadium they breached IPL’s Code of Conduct in response to which Viral Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were fined 100% of the match fee whereas Naveen ul Haq had to pay 50% of the match fee. But the question arises can’t these cricketers have patience? Can’t they wait for the match to end and then begin their ugly brawling? Videos of the intense verbal exchange between the Star batter of Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Coach of Lucknow Super Giants where both of them can be seen visibly angry making rounds on the internet. The end number of cryptic tweets grasped attention as well.  If we talk about Virat Kohli this was not his first fight, in the history he has been involved in not one but seven heated exchanges which I would say is quite a record. Following the intense clash, LSG's Amit Mishra took it upon himself to act as a mediator between the conflicting parties. The aftermath of the game witnessed an exchange of an uncomfortable handshake between Naveen and Virat, with the Afghanistan pacer visibly displaying his displeasure toward the RCB batter. Even LSG's skipper KL Rahul intervened and tried to restore harmony and tranquility between the two players. In the end, Kohli, Naveen, and Gambhir all were subjected to substantial fines as a reminder of the importance of upholding discipline, respect, and fair play within the league.
